Incorporating the main broadcast centre and community access space, the state of the art CBC Radio Canada Broadcast Centre uses Columbia Glazing panelized and stick built curtain wall to create transparency, engagement and a connection with public space. The curvilinear façade is glazed with sealed units incorporating laminated glass to reduce noise transmission with CBC Radio’s red and white logo fritted on the glass. This open concept design creates street level interaction. The total area of glass on this project is 15,400 sq ft.
