Targeting LEED™ Gold status, The St. Mary’s Hospital expansion was designed with the goal of becoming North America’s first carbon neutral hospital. The $44 million project combines state of the art care with a connection to nature that fosters health and healing. Operable windows supplied by Columbia Glazing are located in all clinical and inpatient areas. Patient rooms have 10-foot-high windows that maximize natural daylight and a light filled lobby utilizing Columbia curtain wall marks the new main entrance to the hospital. The total area of glass on this project is 13,000 sq ft.
